We broker exclusively green power (that is, 10% to 100% green power) at better negotiated rates on clients' behalf from a select group of Texas' Retail Electricity Providers (REPs) committed to sustainability, including Green Mountain Energy, Gexa Energy, Suez Energy Resources NA, Constellation NewEnergy, Direct Energy & First Choice Power.
--> Did you know that even though some REPs maintain internal, direct sales forces, most rely extensively on the ABC Channel (i.e., aggregators, brokers & consultants)? In fact, prices obtained directly from REPs by clients are often higher than those we are able to furnish because REPs protect their ABC Channel partners through tiered pricing & reduced rates.
Momentum Bay is Texas' most competitive, service-oriented broker for several reasons:
- First, we are a boutique consulting firm, or small shop, operating with a highly automated front & back office, & no extra levels of administration or management, which usually erode a large part of other brokers' commissions (e.g., 50% of commissions may go to the "House" & only 50% goes to the broker rep).
- Second, our "brokers" are really comprehensive sustainability consultants with diverse revenue streams.
- Third, our background as interim turnaround executives & comprehensive sustainability consultants allows us to bring to our clients a wealth of other value-added services beyond energy management services -- from carbon footprint & greenhouse gas mitigation strategies, to green market research, to green building consulting, & even corporate sustainability strategy -- that other brokers may not offer as part of their fair, disclosed commission fee.
